2. "A beautiful story. This was a very solid film with excellent camera work. I enjoyed the “story” woven through the film, it made it more of a narrative but didn’t detract from the overall cohesion of the film. Watching the kids act was a joy. Even the more artistically shot scenes (the slow motion, the blurring) are appropriate and not overdone. It’s an uplifting movie, you really showed a sense of joy and hope in this film. Well done".

The discussions with the students about the benefits of participating in theater are interesting and cause the viewer to seek answers to this question on a broader scale. The students are also very likable and their personalities are developed well by the film maker. The scenes of Senegal both rural and urban are fascinating".
